Meet Anita

Anita Mbambara Cox serves her community as commissioner on Montgomery County's Charter Review Commission and chair of Gaithersburg's Multicultural Affairs Committee.

<p>Education is her top priority. As founder of her international educational nonprofit, she has provided nearly 4 million school meals to rural children in Uganda and literacy programs benefiting over 15,000 families. She brings decades of leadership, education, and international experience to this campaign—dedicated to bringing real change for working people.</p>
