WHY I'M RUNNING FOR CONGRESS

It's time to change the direction of our country and put people first

A Vision for Our District

For years, I've watched our community struggle while Congress remained divided and focused on the wrong priorities. I've seen working families stretched thin, small businesses discouraged, and our founding values compromised. But I've also seen the strength and resilience of our neighbors—and I know we can do better.

I'm running for Congress because I believe it's time for change. Real change. The kind that puts people first and gets results. Not another politician who practices the politics of division, but a leader who brings communities together to solve the problems we face.

My Story
From community organizing to representing change

I grew up right here in this district. My parents taught me that hard work pays off and that we have a responsibility to lift up others. They were both teachers—they believed in public service and investing in people.

After college, I worked in community organizing, helping families navigate healthcare systems, fight for fair wages, and advocate for their rights. I've spent my career listening to people, understanding their challenges, and helping them find solutions.

"Our district deserves a representative who understands the struggles of working families because they've lived them—not someone who inherited wealth and privilege."

My work has taught me that change is possible when we organize and demand better. But we need more than community activists—we need Congress to act. We need representatives who will actually fight for working people, not just special interests.

A Different Kind of Leader

Congress is broken. Not because our people are weak, but because we have representatives more interested in cable news feuds than constituent services. More interested in fundraising from lobbyists than listening to voters.

I'm not a lobbyist. I'm not part of the establishment. I'm a community organizer who has spent decades fighting for working people. And I'm running because it's time to bring that same energy and commitment to Congress.

I will be a representative who:

  • Listens to constituents and responds—not ignores your calls
  • Votes your values, not party leadership's demands
  • Fights for compromise where it helps people, and stands firm where it matters
  • Turns up in bad times and good—not just at election season
  • Refuses corporate donations that compromise our independence
The Stakes Have Never Been Higher

Our democracy is under attack. Our planet is warming. Healthcare costs are crushing families. And Congress seems paralyzed by dysfunction.

But I believe in the power of organizing. I believe in the strength of working people when we come together. And I believe that in the voting booth, we have the power to change everything.

"When people organize, when people vote, when people demand change—nothing is impossible."
